The Federation period from early 1900's to the late 1920's is a beautiful period in architecture, especially our own influence of Australiana themes such as Kookaburras, Waratahs and Flanel Flowers. Ceiling Panles and Strips were introduced and were used inplace of Ceiling Roses.
You will find these as well as some of our more popular Federation designs pictured below. As there was no definite cut off date to each different period, you will find homes with influences from past eras and therefore it is acceptable to use products from various eras that may be more suitable to your tastes.
